God as we're told in the Bible took up the nature of man in order to identify with our infirmities. This supernatural act demonstrated God's love for humanity above all of his creation. Jesus was God in his fullness manifested in human form, this is called the incarnation. We read in the scriptures, "To wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespass unto them, and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation" (2 Corinthians 5:19, KJV).

Jesus didn't come to the world to die for angels but people with flesh and blood. To be real is (a) to see things as they are (b) accept things as they happen (c) face life's challenges with courage (d) make the best out of every situation and (e) cast your every care on God, who is real. Jesus in his humanity shared with our sorrows and grief and finally gave his life for all mankind that they may be saved from the anguish of hell fire. The bible says, "For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin" (Hebrews 4:15, KJV).

Being followers of Jesus Christ doesn't mean that we live in a state of denial, neither do we run in circles as some may perceive from the outside. We're real people, we've hopes, dreams, feelings and a future. We're as real as others, the difference is that we've made Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord. Jesus is for real people, he wept with them at the grave of Lazarus.

We don't miss out of fun, only the interpretation and the events that constitute it is different. Sometimes people look at true Christians as though we're out of space, no, we're not. We're real people, who have learned through the power of the resurrected Christ Jesus, to live above things that hold people prisoners in our world today.

Jesus came for real people, first the Jews, their rejections of his visitation became our grand opportunity. See John 1:11-12.

Some characteristics of real people, that Jesus identified with:

1. The need for love.
Jesus said no man have ever shown such love because he gave up his life to save his friends. See John 15:13

2. Real people need peace.
We achieve this perfect peace by our faith in the sacrificial work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Jesus brings peace into our lives, the peace which is incomprehensible. See Romans 5:1

3. The need for assurance.
Jesus said our hearts shouldn't be troubled because he has gone ahead to prepare eternal home for us. This is the assurance that we have, that if death comes our way, we're not afraid because we have a home in glory.

4. Hunger for power.
We receive supernatural power through the resurrections of our Lord Jesus Christ when we're filled with the Holy Ghost who is Jesus Christ   evidence of speaking in other tongues. It's this power that transforms us within and makes us peculiar for his glory. Acts 1:8

5. Desire for fun (excitement)
We're command in the scripture to rejoice always in Christ Jesus. Also we're told to celebrate in singing and jubilation.

6. Real people need victory.
We read, "Ye are of God little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world" (I John 4:4, KJV)

7. The struggle and sweat for money.

8. The yearning for comfort.

9. The quest for good health.

Jesus as real God for real people has provided all things to us that we need in this life. We've not lost our sanity, we're real people who simply know how to enjoy God's treasures without losing our mind but glorifying him. Jesus is the God for real people and he is always ready to make himself, real to anyone who seeks him earnestly.
