A Course in Miracles is a spiritual teaching that is both theoretical and practical. Its curriculum includes a 669-page Text, an extensive 488-page Workbook for Students, and two supplemental books: The Manual for Teachers and The Song of Prayer.

A Course in Miracles contains 365 workbook lessons that take one year to complete. It is recommended to read them at a pace that feels right for you.
The Text

A Course in Miracles is a spiritual teaching that is based on the idea that love is all there is. It teaches that forgiveness is the answer to every problem in life, and that God wants us to be happy. Its language is poetic and its thought system combines spiritual inspiration with deep psychological understanding of subjects such as belief systems, guilt and fear.

The Course consists of three acim store books: a 669-page Text, which provides the theoretical basis for its thought system; a 488-page Workbook for Students, which offers daily lessons designed to train the mind of the student along the lines set forth in the Text; and a 92-page Manual for Teachers that answers questions about the curriculum and clarifies some of the terms used in the other books. In addition, two supplements are included: Psychotherapy and The Song of Prayer.

While the Course uses Christian terminology, it is ecumenical in its approach. It emphasizes that it is but one version of "the universal course" and that all religions lead to God in the end.

Some people study the Course by themselves, but most need support to help them understand and experience its lessons. If you are among those who feel drawn to this course, but want guidance in how to apply its principles to your life, I invite you to join me and other Course students in my online class, The Workbook Journey.
The Workbook

If you’re feeling drawn to ACIM, it may be that your heart is indicating that it’s time for a new spiritual journey. Perhaps you’re tired of a life full of fear, anger, guilt and sadness. You’re ready for love, miracles and forgiveness instead. If you’re feeling a sense of inner willingness to make an investment in your spiritual growth, then it’s time for you to start doing the Workbook.

The Course is divided into three books: a 622-page Text, a 478-page Workbook for Students, and an 88-page Manual for Teachers. The workbook contains the text’s teachings and questions for students to answer. It is designed as a training device to help you learn to recognize your own mind’s false beliefs, and to replace them with true ones.

Many of the ideas presented in the workbook will be hard to accept and even seem shocking at first. This is because the aim of the course is to train your mind in a systematic way to a different perception of everyone and everything you see. This takes time to train your mind to accept these ideas, but it is very important.

It is suggested that you do one lesson a day, which will take about a year to complete the course. However, you don’t have to complete the course in one year, and some students have taken much longer to do the workbook lessons. It is essential that you make a commitment to do the workbook lessons on a daily basis. This will ensure that you’ll be able to experience the transformation this course is offering. Each day you will receive an email of the ACIM Lesson Insight for that day, and you can synchronize this with your workbook lesson on the Pathways of Light website.
The Manual for Teachers

The Manual for Teachers is a book meant to help those who are teaching the Course. This is not a replacement for the Text or Workbook, but rather an aid to both. It deals primarily with questions that arise for the teacher of the Course, and also provides an overview of its teachings.

The three-volume set of channeled literature called A Course in Miracles consists of a 622-page Text, a 478-page Workbook for Students, and an 88-page Manual for Teachers. The order in which these books are read and studied is up to the individual student, although it is recommended that the Workbook lessons be done at least once a day. Some people choose to stay with a lesson for more than one day, in which case the Workbook Companion is an invaluable aid to help guide them through the process.

What the course is all about is awakening to a different way of thinking and living, a more peaceful and loving way. The ego-based belief system that is the foundation of human behavior must be replaced with the truth about who we are and what this world is all about.

Many students have found the conversational tone of the Original Edition to be a valuable addition to their study of the Course. This allows them to enter into conversation with the Author and enlivens the experience of the Course. Others find the Original Edition to be a key to unlocking new depths of understanding and meaning that are not available in later editions. In either case, the study of A Course in Miracles is a transformative journey for those who undertake it. It is a journey that may be difficult at times, but which ultimately offers peace of mind and eternal life to those who are willing to walk this path with commitment and perseverance.
The Song of Prayer

A Course in Miracles is a spiritual text that has changed the lives of thousands of people across the globe. It is a curriculum for self-study which consists of three books: The Text which lays out the ideas that make up its thought system; The Workbook for Students, which offers 365 daily lessons and emphasizes experience rather than belief in a theology; and The Manual for Teachers, which provides guidance on teaching the course.

The text has influenced many of the “spiritual but not religious” movement (SBNR) in the US and Western Europe, and it has also been adopted by a number of churches that have adapted the material and called themselves ACIM-inspired. It has also been widely adopted by people who consider themselves to be atheists and agnostics, as well as people of all walks of life.

Although the course uses Christian terminology, it clearly states that it is not a religion. It is a non-dual spiritual thought system that incorporates elements of Eastern spirituality as well. It is not a substitute for any religion, but it is a way for anyone who is open to receive the truth to be freed from the beliefs that keep them stuck in fear and guilt.

This 22-page pamphlet is about forgiveness and healing, and it discusses the meaning of these concepts from a Course in Miracles perspective. It is designed to be read by people who have already completed the Text and Workbook, but it can be helpful for any interested reader. It also points out that miracles in the course are not about things that happen in the world, but about changing our perception and beliefs, and waking up to reality.
The Psychotherapy Booklet

Designed to help therapists with their clinical practice, this series of practical, evidence-based books provides a how-to guide for the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of disorders in a reader-friendly format. Tables, boxed clinical pearls, marginal notes and checklists assist orientation, and summary boxes facilitate quick reference. In addition, each volume includes an index and a full glossary.

This deserved bestseller by psychotherapist Grosz is the distillation of over 50,000 hours of work with clients, and perfectly encapsulates the weighty depths of longing, grief, denial and loss that often find their way into the consulting room. His lucid case studies, written like exquisite short stories, offer valuable insights into the workings of the mind, and invite readers to see the world through new eyes.

The Course consists of three books: a 669-page Text, describing the theoretical foundation upon which its thought system is based; a 488-page Workbook for Students, with 365 daily lessons designed to train the mind along the lines set forth in the Text; and an 92-page Manual for Teachers, which answers questions likely to be asked by someone studying the Course, and clarifies certain terms used throughout the two other books. The order in which the books are studied, and how they are used, is entirely up to the individual student.

Many people feel drawn to the Course, but struggle to figure out how to make it work for them. Some want to read the Text or Workbook first, others a combination of all three. Whatever your preference, I recommend reading the book at a pace that feels comfortable to you, and taking time to pause and reflect on the ideas as you go.
